How to play 1 in 65 million
A step-by-step guide to your first character, attributes, school choices and saves in the Thai life simulator.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
Start your first character
- Open the game, choose your language and sign in with your site account. Play before age 18 for free; a $9 one-time Full Game Pass unlocks adulthood and future generations. No app is required.
- Open the character library. Create a new character, or open an existing one to resume. A new character is separate from your other saves.
- Read the birth card: province, family background, money and family debt describe your starting position. The province is randomly assigned, not selected by the language switcher.
- Continue to the school choice. Read the total cost, entry requirements and attribute effects before selecting an option. A locked option should explain the unmet condition.
- Follow the scenes at your own pace. After an important choice, check the result and the life record before choosing again.
A sample character, from birth to school
English-interface screenshots from a local preview on 28 October 2026. This sample starts in Lopburi with ฿30,000; by the school choice, the displayed funds are ฿52,500. Read the current funds and each option’s conditions rather than carrying the birth amount forward unchanged. Your random background and available choices may differ. Read the attributes before choosing
| Display | Meaning in this game | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| H — Health | Physical condition; illness and injuries can reduce it | A risky action can cost health even when it earns money |
| J — Happiness | How the character is feeling | Higher income can coexist with lower happiness |
| S — Skills | Learning and ability used by some entry checks and opportunities | Read the required value on the option; skills do not guarantee admission |
| C — Connections | Social connections used in opportunities and later outcomes | This is not the same as the relationship with a particular child |
| Money / debt | Funds and obligations | Compare both with the price and any borrowing terms |
| K — Karma | A game value associated with deeds and their consequences | It is revealed in the ending; it is not a real moral assessment |
Your first school decision
The ordinary school menu quotes costs for the school period, not a monthly wage. Local school has no upfront tuition, but its description still mentions uniform expenses. Prestigious state school includes an admission check; private and international schools require larger funds. Read what your own screen allows before assuming you can afford a route.
The free magic-school option starts a fantasy branch with its own attributes, careers and endings. Choose an ordinary school if you want the Thai education, work and family route described in the choices guide.
What does a choice actually change?
For example, a displayed S+6 / J−2 means a direct skill gain and happiness cost. The next visible totals may also include age progression or other events. A quoted chance is a chance, not a promise. Keep a note of the starting values, selected action and event result if you want to compare decisions.
Pause, save and return
You do not need to finish in one sitting. Open the character library to resume an existing life. Progress is stored locally under your account and queued for online saving, normally after about 15 seconds. Use the online-save control and wait for success before changing devices. Save and sync instructions.
At the ending
Read the timeline and result card. You can copy the recap or save its image. When offered, continue as a child or choose rebirth; these are different from creating an unrelated character. Next generation and inheritance · Understand your ending.
